Canned Jellied Cranberry Sauce

This is not a recipe.  It is an homage to the can that brought Thanksgiving cheer.

This is something that my mother always brought out for Thanksgiving.  Pretty much all through the 1960’s and 1970’s the wiggling red cylinder graced our table.  Today I make cranberry sauce the night before Thanksgiving, but I always include a can of this on a fancy plate.

• 1 can cranberry sauce - jellied

Instructions

• Open the can and drop the wiggling sweetness on to the appropriate serving dish.
