Roasted Asparagus with Garlic and Thyme
This goes well with salmon or steaks. Roast in the oven when your are using the kitchen, or use a grilling basket when using the grill.
Roasted Asparagus with Garlic and Thyme
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds asparagus
- 1 tablespoon olive oil - extra virgin
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 ºF
- Drizzle about 1/3 tablespoon oil into a 13" x 9" baking dish.
- Break off the bottoms of the asparagus and use them for compost. Place the tops in the baking dish and drizzle with the remaining 2/3 tablespoon of oil over them.
- Sprinkle the asparagus with the garlic, sea salt and thyme and toss to coat.
- Bake for about 20 minutes at 400 F, check and stir things about halfway through.
Notes
Use a grilling basket and your grill to make this when grilling steaks or salmon.
