Roasted Cauliflower With Garlic

I pretty much grew up with midwestern style boiled cauliflower, who knew how much better roasting would be.  And it is easy too!  I like ‘Denali Blend’ from Alaska Seasoning sprinkled on the cauliflower before roasting.

Roasted Cauliflower With Garlic

Ingredients

  • 4-6 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large head cauliflower cut into florets
  • seasoning to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450 ºF.
  • Lightly grease a casserole dish with olive oil.
  • Put the garlic, olive oil, and garlic into a gallon size zip-lock style bag. Shake the bag to coat the cauliflower with garlic and oil.  Pour the bag into the casserole dish.
  • Shake seasoning over the top, to taste.  I like Denali Blend from Alaska Seasoning for this.
  • Bake in the 450 ºF oven for 25 to 30 minutes.  Toss the mixture after about 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and parsley over the top and broil for about 5 minutes - melting the cheese and turning the top a nice golden brown.
