New York Style Salt Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4 quarts water
- 1 cup salt
- 3 pounds small potatoes (like baby yukon gold or creamers)
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Instructions
- Using a large pot, add 4 quarts of water and stir in the cup of salt.
- Add the potatoes, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce the heat and simmer the potatoes until they are tender. About 25 or 30 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes in a colander.
- Serve with melted butter.
