Tartar Sauce

Condiment for fried fish dishes and such.
Tartar Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons capers minced
- 1 medium shallot minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley optional
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Using a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the capers, shallot, pickle relish, sugar, lemon juice, pepper, and parsley. Add salt to taste.
- Store in an airtight jar.
- Refrigerate for an hour or two before using.
