2tablespoonscornstarch
1/4cupwater
2cupsliquid- stock, water, cream, milk
Instructions
Put the 2 tablespoons of drippings into a small sauce pan and heat on the stove with medium heat.
Mix the 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with about 1/4 cup of cold water, so it dissolves and makes a thin paste.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the drippings and whisk to blend
Continue to whisk until the mixture starts to thicken, then add a small amount of liquid and whisk again. Continue to add small amounts of liquid and whisking until you get to the consistency that you want.
