Smoked Salmon Pasta

parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

peas
- drained

mushrooms

smoked Salmon
- cooked leftovers OK too
Instructions
Cook the pasta following the directions on the package while preparing the salmon, drain when done.
Using a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and saute until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute
Sitr in the flour and cook for a minute, then gradually stir the milk in and heat to near boiling.
Gradually add the cheese to the mixture and stir until smooth.
Add the peas and mushrooms and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the salmon to the skillet, coat with the sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve over pasta.
